Dr Jones is a highly skilled, knowledgeable, experienced, and thoughtful doctor, who is always calm, kind and reassuring. He is an excellent communicator, explaining complex medical issues and treatment options clearly and in great detail, never appearing rushed. He also listens and seems to remember everything without having to check notes. He is easily contacted by email and responds quickly, following through on actions promptly. I feel that Dr Jones is completely on top of every aspect of my care – I have complete trust in him and feel very safe in his hands.

My diagnosis happened quite suddenly for me but Dr Jones made the whole process as easy and comfortable as it could have been. He explained everything clearly and in a way I could understand and explained the reasons behind his decisions. He made sure I wasn't in too much discomfort despite having quite painful procedures.

Very caring, very competent, very perceptive, I really felt that Dr Jones had taken full responsibility for me and my complex health difficulties and needs. Enormously reassuring to be under his wing and all arrangements and appointments have followed through professionally and personally. I have extensive needs and visit Queen Mary’s, Kingston Hospital and the Royal Brompton as well as St George’s. Care through out has been very good indeed but Dr Jones stands out for his excellence. Dr. Daniel Jones has been providing my care for over 10 years. I have FSGS which spontaneously went into remission in 2012, which lasted for 10 years before another episode recently. From day one due to his obvious knowledge relating to all Kidney issues, I have had nothing but complete faith in him. More recently, things have not been so straightforward and the use of Steroids to treat my condition was unsuccessful. This being the case he had another weapon in his arsenal, which was using Immunosuppressant medication to try to bring things under control. So far we appear to be having some success with Nephrotic state now in remission with hope of increase Kidney function hopefully on the cards. I like the way that Dr Jones, explains fully all of my treatment options, side effects etc, I was able to make fully informed decisions relating to my care. All the way along the decisions made regarding my treatment have been made jointly taking my wishes into consideration. I must admit that at one stage I became a little despondent, he was there with words of encouragement, which made a lot of difference In a positive way. As far as I’m concerned I would recommend Dr Jones to anyone who is unfortunate enough to have Kidney problems, who needed a recommendation to an excellent Physician.
